LearnHigher: The Future

It is fitting that a collaborative venture which evolved out of a community of practice should return to it. The Association for Learning Development in Higher Education (ALDinHE) is a professional association which represents the interests of the learning development community and its membership is drawn predominantly from the Learning Development in Higher Education Network (LDHEN). At the ALDinHE annual steering group meeting in Nottingham in 2010 it was formally agreed that the association would assume responsibility for the continued operation and development of LearnHigher from August 2010.

In order to ensure a smooth and effective transition, LearnHigher institutions will be invited to continue in the partnership by becoming members of a LearnHigher Forum. The main aim of the forum will be the development and maintenance of resources and to liaise with the new web hosting company.  We are delighted that through this liaison there will continue to be yet more pages in the LearnHigher story!
