International Students: ‘Have Your Say’ - on referencing in UK assignments

If you are an international student currently studying for a higher education qualification awarded by a UK institution (university or college), you can win a £25 book token for your views on referencing in assignments for your courses in the UK.

Your views will contribute to a research project:  ‘International Students, Referencing and Writing’ sponsored by the LearnHigher and Write Now Centres of Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) networks.

We are interested in your comments in the following two areas:

  1. Your previous experiences in your home country of referencing sources in course work; and
  2. Your current experiences of referencing for UK course assignments.

We are not looking to prove or disprove any particular theory or hypothesis, so there are no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ comments; just respond in a way that genuinely reflects your experiences and feelings.

Confidential:  be assured that your name will not be published in any future report.

Prize draw

If you leave us your comments, your name will be entered for a random draw, every two weeks over a six month period, for a £25 national book token.  There are 12 book tokens to be won, and your name will be entered for each fortnightly random draw.
